The FBI has raised the terrorist alert level in the USA following the American-Israeli attack against Iran, local authorities have tightened security.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced on Saturday the increase of the terrorist alert level in the United States in response to the American-Israeli joint attack against Iran. The Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, stated that they are in direct coordination with intelligence agencies to monitor potential threats.

The Secret Service announced the enhancement of security at the locations they protect, and local police, including those in New York, activated precautionary protocols, increasing the presence of patrols at places of worship and diplomatic missions. The attack was launched by the United States and Israel, and Iran retaliated with missiles towards Israel and American military bases. President Donald Trump stated that the purpose of the operation is to overthrow the Iranian regime.
