A car bomb explosion in Coahuayana, Mexico, killed five people

On Saturday, an explosion caused by a car bomb occurred in front of the police headquarters in the town of Coahuayana, Michoacán, resulting in the death of five people, three of whom were police officers. Local authorities reported that the region is affected by the activities of several drug trafficking groups, including the Jalisco New Generation Cartel and Nueva Familia Michoacana, which are considered terrorist organizations by the Trump administration.
