The National Weather Service has warned that the Christmas storm could bring up to 25 centimeters of rain, with the most intense precipitation expected on Wednesday in the Los Angeles basin. In this context, Sheriff Robert Luna announced the evacuation of over 100 homes and urged residents to prepare for a rapid evacuation. The Pacific Palisades and Malibu neighborhoods, previously affected by fires, are under increased vigilance due to the risks of landslides. Strong wind gusts are also expected, which could cause power outages and road blockages.
