The study emphasizes Europe's significant advantage in military aviation, with 2,215 fighter aircraft operated by NATO members and Canada, compared to 1,064 of Russia.

Additionally, regarding warships, Europe has 143 ships, compared to Russia's 34, and 15,896 artillery systems, in comparison to Russia's 5,976. The authors of the report emphasize that Europe has considerable resources for defense, even in the event of a U.S. withdrawal from NATO. However, it is noted that Europe's security policy is affected by a disjointed and costly approach to defense projects.
