The Europa Appeals Center will be an extra-judicial institution of last resort, initially funded by Meta's supervisory board. It will allow users to appeal against decisions such as account closures, hate speech or harassment complaints. The new authority is being set up under the EU's Digital Services Authority (DSA) rules and will be based in Dublin.
