Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Iran has a legitimate right to defend itself against Israeli bombing, amid the escalation of violence between the two countries. In recent days, Israel has bombed military and nuclear infrastructure in Iran, causing hundreds of casualties. Erdogan accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of being the biggest threat to the security of the Middle East and vowed to continue efforts to reduce violence in the region.
