Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that, following discussions with Vladimir Putin and a phone conversation with Volodymyr Zelensky, the two parties are not yet ready for a leaders' meeting. Although previous discussions in Istanbul suggest an open path towards peace, Erdogan emphasized the need for a gradual elevation of the negotiation level to turn hopes into concrete results. The conditions for such a meeting are not yet met.
