The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, announced the postponement of a planned visit to Abu Dhabi, citing a health issue of the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The initial message, posted on platform X by the Turkish president's teams, was quickly deleted but was captured by the AFP agency. Erdogan expressed his regret and wished for a swift recovery for his counterpart. Subsequently, the Turkish presidency issued another message, without mentioning the reason for the postponement, stating only that the meeting would take place at a later date. The official press agency of the Emirates did not confirm the health issue, and President Al Nahyan was recently seen in photographs, smiling and appearing to be in good health. Neither the Turkish presidency nor the authorities in Abu Dhabi provided further details.
