In a letter addressed to Melania Trump, Emine Erdogan called on the US First Lady to show the same concern for Palestinian children, where more than 18,000 children have been killed in Gaza, as she did for Ukrainian children. She emphasized that children's right to a safe environment is universal and asked that Melania send a similar letter to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Erdogan referred to tragic cases, emphasizing that although it is too late for those who died, there is still a chance for those who survive.
