More than 150 passengers were urgently evacuated after the undercarriage of an American Airlines plane caught fire and one person was injured

Passengers on an American Airlines flight were urgently evacuated to the runway after a landing gear incident caused a fire. The Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft had a technical problem with a wheel and the combination of exploding tires and sudden braking started the fire. Denver firefighters responded quickly and all passengers disembarked safely. One person was transported to hospital with a minor injury. Passengers described the experience as traumatic, with panic and chaos during the evacuation.
