Passengers on an American Airlines flight were urgently evacuated to the runway after a landing gear incident caused a fire. The Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft had a technical problem with a wheel and the combination of exploding tires and sudden braking started the fire. Denver firefighters responded quickly and all passengers disembarked safely. One person was transported to hospital with a minor injury. Passengers described the experience as traumatic, with panic and chaos during the evacuation.
