In these messages, Epstein suggests that Trump spent time with a woman considered a victim of his sex trafficking ring, claiming that Trump "knew about the girls." Although Trump has not been accused of any criminal wrongdoing, Republicans on the Committee believe that the woman mentioned could be Virginia Giuffre, a well-known survivor of Epstein's abuses. Maxwell stated that she has never seen Trump in an inappropriate context.
