Documents published by the democrats from the House of Representatives Oversight Committee show that Jeffrey Epstein mentioned Donald Trump in emails with Ghislaine Maxwell and writer Michael Wolff over the last 15 years. In these messages, Epstein suggests that Trump spent time with a woman considered a victim of his sex trafficking ring, claiming that Trump "knew about the girls." Although Trump has not been accused of any criminal wrongdoing, Republicans on the Committee believe that the woman mentioned could be Virginia Giuffre, a well-known survivor of Epstein's abuses. Maxwell stated that she has never seen Trump in an inappropriate context. In emails, Epstein discusses how Trump should respond to questions regarding their relationship, and Trump has denied any wrongdoing, continuing to be a subject of political controversy.
