Catherine Glavas and her sister were approached for approval to use Edith Piaf's songs at the opening of the Paris Olympics. They received a request for L'Hymne à l'amour, and the organizing committee also contacted Editions Beuscher to use La Vie en rose. Aya Nakamura is the possible interpreter, which has sparked controversy.
