The decision allows Ukrainians to use mobile phone services in the EU without additional charges, facilitating Ukraine's European integration. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal emphasized the importance of this step and noted that the Ukrainian government has approved the opening of the roaming sector, thus contributing to the completion of the visa-free roaming regime.
