A Ukrainian drone hit a beach in Russia: 4 dead and over 60 injured

A drone crashed on a crowded beach in the resort of Arkhipo-Osipovka, located near Gelendzhik, in the Krasnodar region of Russia, causing the death of four people, including a child, and injuring another ten.

The incident occurred on a beach full of tourists, and local authorities stated that the drone was Ukrainian and that it targeted civilian infrastructure, without providing further details. A video recording shows the drone approaching the beach and exploding near people.

Testimonies from social media users suggest that the drone was intercepted by a Russian mobile firing group. The Telegram channel Supernova put forward the hypothesis that the drone targeted a recreation center associated with NPO Mashinostroenia, a major Russian missile manufacturer. The incident took place near 'Putin's Palace', a controversial complex linked to corruption allegations.
