Donald Trump has purchased more than $100 million worth of corporate, state and municipal bonds after taking office in 2025.

Financial documents released by the U.S. Office of Government Ethics show that Trump has made more than 600 financial purchases, including bonds issued by major banks and companies such as Citigroup, Meta and Wells Fargo. These investments are strategic in light of possible policy changes during his time in office. The Trump family has also diversified into areas such as digital media and cryptocurrencies. Control of his businesses has been transferred to his children, continuing an arrangement from his first term.
