At the threshold of the legislative elections on October 3-4, the Czech Republic is facing an unprecedented expansion of disinformation, linked to Russian propaganda. A study conducted by Voxpot shows that 16 disinformation sites produce over 4,000 articles per month, surpassing traditional media institutions. These sites promote false narratives and conspiracy theories, negatively influencing trust in democracy. Political scientist Vojtech Bohac warns that anti-system parties could benefit from this disinformation.
