Rose argued that these attacks affect bilateral relations, and Karol Nawrocki, the President of Poland, criticized the ambassador's reaction, deeming it unacceptable.

Nawrocki also accused Czarzasty of trying to provoke tensions for internal political advantages. The ambassador rejected the accusations of interference in Polish politics, emphasizing that insults towards the American president constitute interference in US politics.
