The Department of Homeland Security, FBI and other agencies are working together to monitor Iran and other actors' reactions against the United States. DHS Secretary Kristi Noem has assured that action will be taken to protect US territory. Police in New York and Washington, DC, have increased security resources around religious institutions and said there are no known threats, but that the measures are part of standard protocol activated during major conflicts.
