At least 27 people have died in Texas from torrential downpours, including nine children, and 25 girls from Camp Mystic are missing. Rescue crews evacuated more than 850 people, but the flooding was extremely rapid, with the Guadalupe River rising more than 20 feet in just two hours. President Trump offered support, while local authorities pointed out that the flooding came without adequate warning. The camp, which housed around 750 children, was badly damaged and the search for survivors continues.
