The fires that have been raging in Spain for several days have led to the death of a firefighter after his tanker overturned during an intervention. Other firefighters were injured in the accident. The country is currently in the third week of a heatwave alert and the army has been deployed to help fight the fires, which are concentrated in the regions of Castile and Leon, Galicia, Asturias and Extremadura.
