The wildfires in Greece have forced the evacuation of 500 tourists from Halkidiki

Over 200 firefighters, supported by planes and helicopters, have intervened to control the fire, considering evacuation by road too dangerous.

Greece is at the highest alert level for fires, and similar outbreaks are affecting Croatia, where over 150 firefighters are battling a fire that has destroyed homes in Lokva Rogoznica, evacuating 1,000 people. France is also facing fires, with four departments under maximum alert, and authorities are warning about ongoing risks.
