An explosion occurred shortly after midnight in a bar in the ski resort of Crans-Montana, Switzerland, where over 100 people were celebrating New Year's. Police estimate that approximately 40 people have died, and another 100 have been injured, with the exact number of victims still unknown due to the severity of the burns. The incident involved people of various nationalities, and images broadcast by the media show the bar in flames. Local authorities, including the Attorney General of the Valais canton, have stated that there are no indications of a terrorist attack, and the fire is the main hypothesis in the investigation of the tragedy.
