British Foreign Secretary David Lammy has stressed the need for regional stability in the Middle East after talks with US officials, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio. It came against the backdrop of US air strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, following which Donald Trump said the damage was 'monumental'. The UK's representative to the UN, Barbara Woodward, called on Iran to show restraint and emphasized the importance of negotiations for a lasting solution.
