The ceremony was largely quiet, although a protester interrupted the moment of the oath-taking with shouts, before officials continued with the legal procedure. Sarah Mullally, who was previously Bishop of London and Chief Nursing Officer in England, succeeds Justin Welby, who resigned following a scandal related to the handling of abuse.
