The Czech Republic's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jan Lipavský, announced that the country has banned the entry of holders of Russian diplomatic and service passports, a first in the European Union. However, Russians with accreditation issued by Prague will still be admitted. The Czech Republic intends to extend these restrictions at the European level, arguing that Russia's diplomatic network may conceal agents that threaten national security.
