Poland's Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski has announced that a cyber attack has been thwarted that could have left a major city without water. Although the details of the attack and the targeted city were not disclosed, Gawkowski emphasized that Poland is a prime target for cyberattacks from Russia, having been a help center for Ukraine. Poland manages to thwart 99% of these attacks and invests heavily in cyber security.
