The Civil Defense in Cuba recently published a guide for families, titled "Protect, Resist, Survive, and Overcome", which offers practical information for protecting the population against military aggression.

This initiative comes against the backdrop of rising tensions between Cuba and the United States, which has imposed an energy blockade on the island. The document contains recommendations such as preparing an emergency backpack with water, food, medicine, and hygiene products, as well as the importance of air raid alerts. Additionally, the guide encourages citizens to learn about first aid and to stay informed through local defense councils. The publication of this guide coincides with a severe socio-economic crisis in Cuba, where many residents are facing shortages of essential goods.
