Foreign ministers from France, the UK and Germany, along with the EU's chief diplomat, are preparing for talks with Iran aimed at avoiding the reimposition of nuclear sanctions. Recent talks have underscored the urgency of the situation, and the Europeans have proposed an extension of the deadline for activating sanctions if Iran returns to talks with the US and cooperates with the International Atomic Energy Agency. Tehran, on the other hand, is working with Russia and China to prevent sanctions.
