Croatia's Constitutional Court has ruled that President Zoran Milanovic cannot also be Prime Minister.

The decision comes amid negotiations to form a coalition government after parliamentary elections won by the conservative HDZ party. Milanovic rejected the court's decision, accusing it of favoring his political rivals. He was warned in March that he would have to resign from the presidency if he wanted to run for prime minister.
