These events, part of a state-supported program, took place in several large squares of the capital, being broadcast by state television to boost the morale of the population, in the context of recent threats from U.S. President Donald Trump.

Young newlyweds joined a program called "self-sacrifice," committing to risk their lives during the conflict. The ceremonies were presided over by religious officials, and the atmosphere was animated by a huge portrait of the Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei. The couples, arriving at the event in military jeeps, were greeted by supporters who brought flowers.

Iranian authorities continue to organize pro-government gatherings to highlight popular mobilization during this period of regional tensions.
