Coffee prices hit their highest level on record due to bad weather in Brazil and Vietnam.

The price of Arabica beans has risen by more than 80% this year, to more than $3.44 a pound, while the cost of Robusta beans hit a new high in September. Big coffee producers are preparing to raise prices as harvests fall due to bad weather in Brazil and Vietnam, the world's two biggest coffee producers.
