Chinese Premier Li Qiang announced at the World Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Shanghai plans to form an international organization dedicated to AI regulation and cooperation. The initiative aims to coordinate global efforts and share technological advances with emerging countries. Li stressed the need for unified global governance, warning against monopolization of AI by a few states. China proposes that the new organization be based in Shanghai and has launched an action plan for international collaboration in the field.
