A new weapon developed by China, called a graphite bomb, has the potential to cause major power outages by releasing conductive particles that short-circuit electrical equipment. Videos shown by CCTV show how the missiles release submunitions that create a cloud of graphite, affecting electrical installations. Although classified as non-lethal, the use of this weapon can have devastating consequences on civilians, similar to past NATO attacks in Serbia. Other countries such as South Korea have also developed similar weapons.
