The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the United States on Sunday to immediately release Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, emphasizing that their expulsion violates international law. China condemned the actions of the U.S. in Venezuela, considering them a blatant use of force against a sovereign state.

The ministry's spokesperson stated that it is essential for the U.S. to ensure the personal safety of Maduro and Flores. Additionally, China warned its citizens not to travel to Venezuela in the near future, highlighting the tensions between the two countries.
