Carlos Alcaraz, the world number 1 tennis player, announced, together with his long-time coach, Juan Carlos Ferrero, the end of their collaboration after seven years. Alcaraz expressed gratitude towards Ferrero, mentioning that he turned his childhood dreams into reality and supported him throughout an incredible journey, both on and off the court. Under Ferrero's guidance, Alcaraz won six Grand Slam tournaments, including two Roland-Garros, two Wimbledons, and two US Opens.
Ferrero shared similar feelings, emphasizing the difficulty of parting and appreciating the experiences they lived together. Alcaraz mentioned that an important chapter in his life is coming to an end, but he is excited for future adventures. For now, he has not revealed the name of his successor.
