The 12th Azov Brigade from Ukraine carried out an "elimination operation" in the village of Zolotyi Kolodiaz in the Donetsk region, where they captured 18 Russian soldiers.

They had been left by the Russian army to fend for themselves, remaining for months in basements and shelters. One of the captured soldiers reported that they were encircled and felt abandoned, being "like rabbits, scared."

The Russian soldiers were held as prisoners for 24 hours and were subjected to interrogations.
