At least 10 flights in India have received fake bomb threats in the past 48 hours, causing delays and panic.

Flights operated by Indian airlines such as Air India, IndiGo, SpiceJet and Akasa Air have received bomb threats, causing delays and diversions. The threats targeted both domestic and international flights and some were received via social media. The Singapore Air Force had to escort an Air India Express plane, and in Canada an Air India flight had to land as a precaution.
