After a military airplane crashed over a school in Bangladesh, teacher Maherin Chowdhury burst into flames to save her students, at the cost of her life. The 46-year-old refused to leave the classroom, saying the students were "her children". She managed to save at least 20 children before suffering severe burns. She was survived by a husband and two teenage sons. The accident killed 29 people, most of them children, and the teacher was buried with honors.
