An armed incident took place in Kansas City, Missouri, where nine people suffered injuries that are not life-threatening, just a few days before the start of the World Cup.

The local police announced that there are no suspects in custody and that at least three of the victims were transported to nearby hospitals. The incident occurred about six kilometers from Swope Soccer Village, the location where the England team was set to train. It is worth mentioning that the England team has not yet arrived in Kansas City, having scheduled a friendly match with the national team of Costa Rica in Orlando, Florida.
