Armed incident at a food festival in Seattle. Two people have died and four have been injured.

An armed incident occurred on Sunday evening at the "Bite of Seattle" food festival, held near the iconic Space Needle tower in Seattle.

The Fire Department responded after reports of gunfire were received, around 6:00 PM (local time). Two people were declared dead at the scene, and four others, including a 2-year-old child, were transported to the hospital with gunshot wounds. Harborview Medical Center reported that a woman is in critical condition, while the other victims suffered injuries to the arm, leg, and abdomen. Authorities have not provided details about the suspect or possible motives. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots, and people began to flee in panic. The Seattle Center Monorail was closed for the rest of the day.
