A shooting at a student party at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania resulted in the death of one person and the injury of six others.

The incident occurred on Saturday evening, around 9:30 PM, when a man entered the campus with the intention of causing massive damage and opened fire in front of the International Cultural Center, injuring six people, one of whom died. The police have detained a suspect but have not confirmed whether he is the perpetrator of the attack. Chester County District Attorney Christopher de Barrena-Sarobe stated that they do not have much information about the circumstances of the incident. This attack comes a day after another shooting near Howard University, where five people were injured, but which was not related to the institution.
