Apple has lodged an appeal with the General Court of the European Union against the Commission's decision sanctioning restrictions on app developers.

The company argues that the European Commission's decision and the fine imposed exceed legal limits, forcing it to change the way the App Store operates. Apple changed the rules to avoid penalties of 5% of global revenue, but the Commission has not confirmed whether the changes are sufficient, pending feedback from developers.
