Anutin Charnvirakul, the new Prime Minister of Thailand, stated that he will dissolve Parliament within four months and will organize legislative elections, according to his commitment. He has obtained the support of the People's Party, which has called for these elections, but the dissolution of Parliament requires the king's approval. Charnvirakul emphasized that there will be no favoritism or persecution against former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, who risks being incarcerated again. Thaksin announced that he intends to return to Thailand to present himself before the court.
