On Monday morning, an infant died due to a respiratory arrest during an Air France flight between Nairobi and Paris. The airline announced that the infant suffered from a serious heart condition and was heading to France for treatment. The crew followed all health protocols, contacting the emergency service in Paris for medical recommendations.
Doctors traveling on board were also called, but their intervention was unable to save the child. Flight AF 815 took off from Nairobi on Sunday evening and landed at Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle airport on Monday morning, around 06:10. The infant was accompanied, but the company did not provide further details.
