A spokesperson for the American embassy confirmed a U.S. airstrike on a drug trafficking vessel carrying approximately 1,000 kilograms of cocaine. President Donald Trump mentioned this incident on social media, without providing additional details. The ship, suspected to be from Venezuela, was intercepted during a U.S. anti-drug operation in the Caribbean, which led to the destruction of at least three drug trafficking vessels. Washington accuses Nicolas Maduro's regime of involvement in drug trafficking, offering a reward for information about it.
