Aleksandr Dugin, considered the ideologue of the Kremlin regime, stated on social media that Ukraine will no longer have sovereignty, accusing Ukrainians of the inability to exercise it. In a post titled 'The Return of Ukraine to the Russian World', Dugin claimed that Ukraine will be fully integrated into Russia within a maximum of two years. He mentioned that a detailed plan is being worked on for the integration of Ukrainian society, including manuals and psychological rehabilitation programs.

Dugin suggested that the Ukrainian territories will receive a new name, possibly 'the Old Lands'.
