The protests delayed the party meeting by two hours and resulted in the injury of approximately 15 security agents. Over 800 participants adopted a charter for the organization, which will be closely linked to the AfD, in contrast to its predecessor, Junge Alternative.

The objective of Generation Deutschland is to prepare talented young people for the party, accepting AfD members aged up to 36, as well as unaffiliated youth. The protests gathered over 10,000 people, who blocked the streets and clashed with the police, which intervened with water cannons. Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt condemned the violence, emphasizing the importance of respecting the law and public order.
