American envoy Steve Witkoff announced that negotiations to stop the war in Ukraine have advanced significantly, leaving only one point to be resolved.

The announcement was made at the World Economic Forum in Davos, ahead of a scheduled visit to Moscow, where he will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Witkoff mentioned that the discussions included several versions of this point, suggesting that a solution is possible. He also emphasized that indirect negotiations continue between Kiev and Moscow to find a diplomatic solution to the conflict.

At the same event, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that the United States is prepared to provide Ukraine with all necessary military support. Ukraine is seeking security guarantees from its Western allies following a potential ceasefire.
