Six 'analogue astronauts' from several countries are taking part in a four-week simulation of a four-week stay on Mars, run by the Austrian Space Forum.

The mission is organized by the Austrian Space Forum and involves over 200 scientists from 25 countries. The crew is living in a special habitat and using ÖWF spacesuit prototypes. The purpose of the simulation is to test equipment and prepare for a possible real mission to Mars. The project is the Austrian Space Forum's 14th mission of its kind.
