The High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, stated on Monday that the upcoming week could be 'crucial' for diplomacy in the context of the conflict in Ukraine.

Before the meeting of EU defense ministers in Brussels, Kallas mentioned that discussions in America are difficult but productive, without presenting any clear results yet.

She emphasized the need to strengthen Ukraine, considering that Russia does not want peace. Kallas announced that she will have discussions with Ukrainian officials to assess the situation and coordinate future actions.
